Whether you’re restoring an old engine or repairing modern performance equipment, our shop has the tools and expertise to bring your cylinder head back to top condition.
At Wilson Motor Works, we handle all types of engine block machining with precision and care. Whether you’re rebuilding a classic engine or freshening up a modern one, we’ve got the equipment and experience to make sure your block is straight, clean, and ready to perform.
Our block services include boring and honing cylinders, decking the block surface, magnaflux crack inspection, and installing cam bearings and freeze plugs. We also perform all the critical measurements along the way to ensure proper clearances and alignment throughout your build.
From simple cleanup work to full machining prep, we take pride in getting your engine block back to factory specs — or better.
At Wilson Motor Works, we can take your engine project from start to finish — from complete teardown and cleaning to full short block or long block assembly, depending on what you need.
We handle full disassembly of engines for inspection, cleaning, and machining preparation. Every part is carefully labeled and organized to ensure a smooth reassembly process. Once machining is complete, we can reassemble your engine to factory specifications or custom build requirements.
Whether you want us to handle just the machine work or take care of the complete rebuild, we’ll make sure everything is clean, measured, and assembled the right way.
At Wilson Motor Works, we offer complete connecting rod and piston services to keep your engine build running strong and reliable. We can recondition rods by resizing both the big ends and small ends to factory specs, ensuring proper oil clearance and alignment.
Our team can remove and install pistons on rods, whether they’re press-fit or full-floating with snap rings. We also handle wrist pin bushing replacement and fitting for precise pin-to-bore clearance.
Every rod and piston assembly we work on is checked carefully to make sure it’s straight, balanced, and ready for smooth operation in your engine.
At Wilson Motor Works, we resurface both brake rotors and drums using the proper equipment made for each type. Whether it’s a car, truck, or classic project, we make sure your braking components are smooth, true, and ready for safe, reliable stopping.
Resurfacing removes uneven wear, warping, and brake chatter — helping restore proper contact and performance. It’s always best to resurface rotors or drums before installing new pads or shoes; putting new friction material on a worn surface can cause uneven wear and transfer marks, reducing braking performance and shortening the life of your new parts.
If your brakes are pulsing, squealing, or due for service, bring your rotors or drums to us — we’ll get them cleaned up, resurfaced, and ready to perform like they should.
At Wilson Motor Works, we provide professional flywheel cleaning and resurfacing for most types and sizes. Whether it’s a small automotive flywheel or a large heavy-duty one, we can restore a smooth, true surface to help your clutch perform its best.
We handle flat and stepped flywheels with precision equipment to ensure proper finish and balance. The only flywheels we don’t resurface are dual-mass types.
If your clutch is slipping, chattering, or you’re doing a rebuild, bring your flywheel to us — we’ll make sure it’s cleaned, resurfaced, and ready to go back to work.
At Wilson Motor Works, we can test, clean, and restore most non–direct injection fuel injectors back to factory performance. Using professional testing equipment, we check each injector’s flow rate, spray pattern, and operation to ensure consistent performance across all cylinders.
Our cleaning process removes deposits and buildup that can cause poor idle, hesitation, or reduced fuel economy. Once cleaned, injectors are retested to verify proper spray pattern and flow before they go back on your engine.
If your engine isn’t running smoothly or you’re doing a rebuild, bring in your injectors — we’ll make sure they’re flowing evenly and performing like they should.
